Tailgate, Film & Storytelling 3/29

9:00 AM / Comments (0) / by BayScope

Researching events, I've learned pretty quickly that the first Tuesday of the month is the day where many museums have their free admission days. If you're free today check out these museums here that have "free" days today. In case a museum alone won't entertain you, here are a few other things in store for today.

Fan Appreciation Oakland A's Tailgate
Oakland Coliseum
7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland
4pm - 6:30pm

This is especially for the A's fans. Meet up in Parking Lot A at the Oakland Coliseum. It's free admission for everyone and the gates open at noon. Take this time to meet with the team and the coaches. This is your time to ask all your questions, get your autographs, play some games and more. After the Tailgate, enjoy a game between the A's and the Giants for only $5.

Green Film Night - Networking Session
Jellyfish Art Gallery
1286 Folsom St., San Francisco
7pm - 11pm

Filmmakers unite. This is the perfect networking opportunity for the movie makers of tomorrow. It's free to attend and a great way to share ideas and make connections.

Tell It On Tuesday - Storytelling
Marsh Berkeley
2120 Allston Way, Berkeley
7pm - 9pm

Not quite book reading, but there's storytelling going on tonight at the Marsh. Preceded by Music starting at 7pm, the stories will be told by Jeff Byers, Safiya Martinez, Annette Roman and David Kleinberg. Check the site for more info and be advised, this isn't for the kiddies. "These stories contain adult material not recommended for children."
