This week has gone by so fast. It's already Thursday! Remember that the SF Flower & Garden Show is going on everyday from now until Sunday so if you haven't already, take the time to check it out. No green thumb is requred. Besides that, there are plenty of other things to see so take the time to stop by and enjoy them.


2011 Disposable Film Festival
Castro Theater

If you've ever shot a video with your cameraphone, this festival is for you. It's here to prove that you don't need expensive equipment to make a good film. Embracing the digital camera and using YouTube are signs of a true artist here. See the best amateur films of 2011. Tonight is opening night at the Castro Theater and seats fill up quickly. Grab your ticket online before they're gone and be down at the Castro Theater early to avoid a long wait. Showing starts at 8pm.

Twestival 2011 San Francisco is here. If you've missed out on previous years, the Twestival events are to raise funds and awareness for local nonprofits. Tonight for $5 enjoy soul, disco and funk at the soulHOUSE! The 21+ crowd is welcome out to the Project One Gallery & Lounge for a night of oldies but goodies. If you're there early enough, you can enjoy 2 for 1 drafts. There will be a live saxaphonist, live vocals, and DJ's all night long. Enjoy.
