TGIF! The one thing I look forward to every weekend is catching up on all the sleep I missed during the week. 40 hours may not seem like much, but after a while you begin to feel it. Now that the first day of the unofficial 3day weekend is here we can relax. Be sure not to relax too much though. This weekend is the start of Daylight Saving Time so remember to set your clocks an hour ahead.

This weekend is the Official Star Trek Convention, celebrating 45 years! Parties, celebrities, contests, autographs, you name it and it will probably be there. Dress in your best costume and come join the crew from the Enterprise! This event lasts all day and ranges from $20 to $40. Check the official website for more information.


"The Comic Book Guide to the Mission" Release Party

If you love comic books then this is where you'll want to be. Tonight at 7pm is the release of the new "Comic Book Guide to the Mission." Have some food and drinks tonight and mix and mingle with the creators. Party is from 7pm till 10pm.
