Salsa & Hula Hoops 3/7

With the sudden increase in rainy weather, it should come as no surprise that the Winter season is ending soon and making room for the Spring. Soon we'll be able to lower our gas bills, leave home without heavy duty jackets, and enjoy the outdoors without worrying about the cold. March 20th is still a few days away, so until that first day, we  have two awesome events that are perfect for any weather.


Lean to Salsa Dance

Salsa is good, dancing is great, and when you mix the two you get an awesome combination. Beginning Salsa lessons start at 7pm sharp to bring your two left feet on time to get them aligned. Intermediate lessons begin at 8:30pm and after that the Rockit Room turns into a Salsa free-for-all. Bring your hidden talents and your professional moves to the dance floor. $5 cover for dancing after 9:30pm. There's a separate charge for the lessons so be sure to check the website.


Monday Night Hoop Jam

The kid in me loves the idea of this weekly event. Monday Night Hoop Jam is an event put on by Berkeley locals in order to  attract people with similar interests. Come out, pick up a hoop, and show off those moves you leaned last week. Hoop Jam starts at 8pm
