You don't need a green thumb to enjoy this event. From now until Sunday you can learn how to get the most out of your garden at the SF Flower and Garden Show. Get some great landscaping designs, pick up some rare plants, and even learn how to cook directly from your garden's crop. Event times vary depending on the day so be sure to check online for the correct hours to this free event.
Fresh and Local - Trunk Show

You'll need to pull out a bit of cash for this one. Pay a $5 entry fee and get a taste of the Bay Area's latest and greatest designers with their collections. The money collected will be donated to Dress for Success San Francisco. If you're there early enough, between 6 and 7pm, the hosted champagne bar will be available so don't miss out on that either.
Film Screening: Bicycle Bride

With so many movies coming out every Friday, it's hard to find something original. The Bicycle Bride is pretty interesting. It's about the plight of the traditional muslim woman, using a bicycle metaphorically. Check it out. $5 entry and space is limited so be there early for a good seat.
