Here's another great film for the devoted movie buff. The Main Library in San Leandro is having a free 7pm showing of the classic film "The Joy Luck Club." If you haven't seen it, here's the breakdown featured on the site.

"The Joy Luck Club tells the story of four aging Chinese women bound together more by hope than joy or luck. They came to America years ago to escape China’s once feudal society. Now, one member has died and the three survivors of the club invite her daughter June to take her place. June belongs to the “new” generation, those of Chinese heritage who grew up speaking English and learning American customs."
