The long wait for the XLV Superbowl has come to an end. Today the Pittsburg Steelers will be facing off against the Green Bay Packers in this nationwide event. Even if you're not all that into football, you can expect to see some of televisions best commercials so take a seat and prepare for some great entertainment. If you haven't already made plans, here are a few interesting places to spend your football centered Sunday.

SATURDAY

Superbowl Tailgate Party - Clothes Optional
Sequoians Clothes Free Club
10200 Cull Canyon Rd., Castro Valley

So if you like the great outdoors, and you dislike being fully clothed, then this event is for you. Go on out to the Sequoians campground for some BBQ, great games, and prizes with other like-minded people as yourself. Though it is not a requirement, you can expect the majority to be clothes-less. This is a free event in potluck style so bring something to share. Starts at noon.

Superbowl & Third Annual Heavy Metal Chili Cookoff
Bottom of the Hill
1233 17th St., San Francisco

One of the key ingredients to a good Superbowl event is the food, and at Bottom of the Hill they know how to get it done. Visit them to enjoy the game and get a taste of the Third Annual Heavy Metal Chili Cookoff! This event is also potluck style so if you're not participating in the cooking, bring a complimentary dish to share as you judge some great chili creations. Doors open at 1pm.

2050 Bryant St., San Francisco

The San Francisco Indi fest is having their own Superbowl party get together! This is free for the 21+ crowd and the doors open at 2:30, an hour before kickoff. If you're just looking for a simple game day hangout, here's the place to do it. Though free, donations are appreciated.
