We have officially reached the one day of the year where Love in all forms is celebrated. Whether you love it or loathe it, you'll have to live through it, so what better way to enjoy than with some great events. Happy Valentine's Day to the lovers and Single Awareness Day to the unattached.


Be My Valentine Concert

Everyone loves a free concert, and the Oakland City Center is giving you one. In celebration of Valentines Day, they're setting the mood with jazz artist and performer, Nicholas Bearde. Expect to hear the smooth sounds of love. This performance starts at 12 noon so bring a friend, lover or brother and check it out.

Dazzles Valentine's Day Champagne Party

Champagne on ice is an iconic staple of Valentine's Day. You see it in the movies all the time. A single bottle submerged in a bucketful of ice, signaling the start of a beautiful romance.  Well Dazzles is a company dedicated to bringing the romance, and they're hosting a Free Champagne party for all it's current and potential subscribers. This is something you don't want to pass up so RSVP now to receive your complimentary ticket. This mixer will begin at 5:30 and last until 8pm.


Love Bites - Sing a Long

If today isn't treating you as good as it should, feel free to let out your frustration at this "Love Bites" Sing-a-long. Go down to the Roxie Theater and prepare to relieve you stress with some great Power Ballads! Guns 'n Roses, Warrant & Bon Jovi will all be there (in spirit) to help you through your anguish. Ballads start at 9:15pm so go on down and sing your heart out.
