Inspiration Station! Mission Arts Performance Project (MAPP) is at it again with exhibits and performances going on all day! There are over 10 different venues to see great art, hear awesome spoken word and watch some interesting short films. Check the site for schedule. Some of the locations participating are:

Yahoo Block Party & OK Go! Concert
San Francisco Art Institute
800 Chestnut St., San Francisco




If you haven't heard of OK Go before, you should now have an idea of what to look forward to at this block party! Be there early to receive 1 of only 800 entry wristbands. Come out and party on the roof of the SF Art Institute and enjoy some great music, food, games and more! Don't miss out on this Free event! Doors open at 3:30pm.


Chinese New Year Celebration
The Taoist Center

It is officially the Year of the Rabbit. According to Chinese tradition, this is a year of peace. Time to focus on enhancing life and creating goals. So to bring in this new Chinese year, go down to The Taoist Center and celebrate with a great potluck, some fun games and dancing. Also, there will be live Martial Arts Demonstrations for those that want to learn how to do a proper roundhouse kick. The event is free and starts at 6pm.

8th Annual Big Lebowski Party

The Big Lebowski is a great old movie, and this is a tribute to all of it. Come out to the 8th Annual Big Lebowski Party dressed your best! (In costume that is!) Enjoy some mini bowling, trampolines, white russians and more! There will be prizes for the best costumes and the movie will be on to watch all night long! Party starts at 8pm so get your tickets!

Pink Mammoth 7 Year Anniversary Extravaganza

At 9pm, get ready to party like never before. If you haven't gotten your tickets already, go here. The Pink Mammoth is celebrating 7 whole years of Pink Love! There will be an open bar and gourmet food to start but be prepared to dance! Mighty is being covered in Pink and transformed into a replica of PM's Burning Man camp! This is a silent disco where the music will be sent by wireless from the DJ,  so remember to pick up your headphones before you hit the dance floor! Have fun!
