9:00 AM / Comments (0) / by BayScope

It's Tuesday, and for many of us it means the return to our regular scheduled work/school week. The rainy weather seems to have died down a bit so we can enjoy a few more activities outdoors. Soon I'll add a page of places to go around the Bay for those who enjoy exploring new places. Until then, today's events will have to suffice.

Noise Pop 2011: Happy Hour Concert
Benders Bar
806 South Van Ness Ave., San Francisco 5-7

It's that time again. Those precious hours set aside between 5 and 7pm to relax, have a few drinks, and be happy. Noise Pop 2011 is contributing to that ever needed happiness break by offering some free concert shows. This particular one will feature the artists Dirty Ghosts, Hardership & Hog Fog at Benders Bar. If you need a smile on your face, this is the perfect place to find one.

Free Screening: Warriors of Qiugang
9th Street Theater
145 9th St., San Francisco  6-8

Movies don't always have to be long to be good. Warriors of Qiugang may be a short film but it has a good storyline and has received an Oscar nomination. If you're not busy, in the neighborhood, or just need something to do, here's a good start. Showing starts at 6pm so be on time.

Open Mic
The Starry Plough Pub
3103 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley

It's that time of the month again. With all the rainy weather lately, we're sure to have some pent up issues to let out. Come to the Starry Plough to let off that steam, or be an audience to the steam let off by others. Either way you're bound to have a lot of fun. Sign-ups for the Open Mic start at 7pm so be on time if .
