Welcome back to another eventful Tuesday, and Happy Chinese New Year! There are a lot of fun things to get into today so enjoy what you can, and schedule for later anything you can't. It's a New Chinese Year, so that's always a reason to celebrate. Aside from that, you can bring out your inner designer with the Bay Area's version of Fashion Runway, and when it's all said and done, let out all your stress and frustrations into an open mic. Don't be afraid, it's there to listen.


Chinese New Year Celebration
Civic Center Plaza, San Francisco

We have officially entered the Year of the Rabbit, full of luck and good fortune! Celebrate by coming out to the Civic Center Plaza! There will be some great dance and music performance put on by some of the best in Bay Area talent. Show starts at 11:30am and lasts till 1:30pm so be at the 3-headed, 6-arm statue on time or dare to miss out.

If you like cutting and sewing, and you regularly watch project runway then this is where you'll want to be tonight. "Fashion Fued" is the Bay's version of Project Runway with some local designers and models. Be there to cheer on the Bay's best as they compete to create the best dressed model of the hour. Show starts at 7pm but seats will fill up fast so come early.

It's that time again. Got something to say, but need a venue? Have a cool quote you want to enlighten others with? Angry with all the recent BART delays? This is the night to spit it all out! Open mic tonight at the Starry Plough is specifically made for all that and more. No cover tonight, just drinks and fun. Don't be afraid so serve the mic anything you're willing to dish out. Sign up at 7:30. Show starts at 8pm.
