It is now officially Friday. If you're weekend plans aren't in stone yet, here are some starters. Toady's highlight is definitely the Engadget Reader Meetup. Engadget is where you can find all the latest info on new tech and gadget release. Another highlight for this weekend revolves around the crazy weather we've been having lately. Forecast's predict snow in San Francisco early Saturday morning so keep warm and take out your cameras just in case.

Nick Zinner's 1,001 Images

Take a trip down memory lane in the life of Yeah Yeah Yeah's guitarist Nick Zinner! Nick has been photographing himself and his band over the years, and tonight you have the opportunity to see the photos that weren't made public. Nick also has an artistic side to his photography and those photos will be on display as well during this exhibition of 1,001 images. Show starts at 5pm at Public Works.


Scavenger Hunt

Discover Downtown Oakland! We have again reached that time of the month where people from all over get together to find hints and discover clues hidden throughout the city. It's a great way to network with great people and get out on a Friday night. Individual tickets are on sale for $5 and all money goes towards improving the neighborhood. Hunt starts at 6pm.



Engadget Reader Meetup Party
The Metreon
101 4th St., San Francisco

Every gadget lover and tech geek will want to be a the Metreon for the Engadger Reader Meetup Party today. Capacity is limited to 1200 people so get there early to get in. There will be food, music and some great giveaways for all to attend. Engadget doesn't host events in San Francisco often so be sure to take full advantage of this Free public event. Party starts at 6:30 but the line will form way before then so get there asap.
