This weekend has been great so far. Now onto the second half. Heads up to all you wine lovers out there, the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival is still going on, so if you want to catch it, head on out in that direction before 6pm!


SF International Dragon Boat Festival 
Treasure Island, San Francisco
10am - 5pm

Come join us for a weekend of world-class dragon boat racing, spectacular cultural performances, and fun-filled activities for the whole family at the largest competitive dragon boat festival in the United States. This year, we have over 120 dragon boat teams and 3,500 dragon boat paddlers racing our 500 and 300 meter course. In addition to the exciting dragon boat racing, the Festival features many fun cultural activities: an entertainment stage with live dance and music performances, the Dragon Land children's activity pavilion, and a variety of food, arts & crafts, and other vendors.




Free Comedy in the Park
Sharon Meadow - Golden Gate Park

12pm - 5pm

The 2011 Comedy Day stage features an excellent lineup of some of San Francisco’s funniest performers including Funcheap favorites Joe Klocek,  Sean Keane, Will Franken, Chris Garcia, Nato Green, Will Durst, Brian Copeland. And although there are no guarantees, sometimes a super secret headline comedian joins the fray as Robin Williams has done several times in the past.


Golden Gate Fields $1 Day
Golden Gate Fields, Albany
12pm - 5pm

Head out to Golden Gate Fields every Sunday during live racing for Dollar Day Discounts, horse racing, and the NFL Sunday Ticket! Be sure to check out the NFL End Zone area at the track equipped with 16 plasma tv's and ample seating for the races! Spend your Sundays betting on the ponies and watching your favorite NFL teams while enjoying the Dollar Day discounts! AND Free concert by Mustache Harbor with paid admission!
