Bayscope is BACK!!! 9/8

Hey everyone! After a long wait, Bayscope is finally back in action! To start things off right, there are a number of great things happening this weekend so there's absolutely no reason for anyone to be sitting at home bored. FRIDAY

Rooftop Garden Concert
Kaiser Center Roof Garden

A group hailing from Oakland, Swoon will bring their blend chamber rock, funk, world, jazz and a hint of R&B to the Kaiser Center’s Roof Garden. But the fun doesn’t end after their set, because you can see a whole host of local jambands and singer-songwriters every Friday from noon to 1 p.m. in the garden. And for those who don’t want to rock out with a rumbling stomach, the Center also offers lemonade and $8 bagged lunches, which includes a sandwich, chips and a cookie, at every show.


Off The Grid: Food Truck Party
Fort Mason
Marina and Laguna, San Francisco

Off the Grid is roaming mobile food extravaganza that travels to different locations daily to serve delicious food, with a free side of amazing music, craft and soul. Reward yourself for a work week well done! Grab your friends and fam and get ready to enjoy great food, great drinks, and great live music all night!


The Hella Gay Comedy Show
La Estrellita Cafe
446 E 12th St., Oakland
9pm - 11pm

Comics and performers will gather to entertain with a wide variety of talents, including stand-up, improv and sketch comedy; monologues; music and much more. Ballard designed this monthly show to break boundaries and change the way audiences think about the word "gay." The venue, La Estrellita Cafe, also offers a full bar and dining.
