Happy April Fool's Day! If you haven't prepared your jokes yet there's still time. Just search online and you can find plenty of jokes to terrorize your friends and family with. If you find time between your pranks, make sure to make it out to some events this weekend.

FRIDAY

33rd Annual St. Stupid's Day Parade
Justin Herman Plaza
Market St., San Francisco
12pm - 3pm

This is the perfect thing to celebrate April Fool's Day! Dress up in your craziest outfit and prepare to march down Market. Everyone's entitled to stupidity once in a while. There will also be other activities to participate in such as the Dead Lottery Ticket, "Sock" Exchange, and the Penny Toss. Expect to see lots of people and have lots of fun.


The Oakland Standard - April Ful's Night
Oakland Museum of California
1000 Oak St., Oakland
6pm - 9pm

If you're not a fan of the "Fool" in April Fool's, you'll want to stop by the Oakland Museum tonight. You'll have the opportunity to join in on the discussion and food about the Egyptian revolution and recent Middle Eastern uprisings. There will also be music, spoken word, and a video shown all within this three hour span. This event is free to the public but there is limited seating so prepare yourself with a blanket to sit on.


Two Left Feet Can Dance - Dance Workshop
Oakland Art Murmur
W Grand Ave to 66th, Oakland
6pm - 8pm

I enjoy dancing workshops. It's nice to see the talented using their talents and teaching their tricks to the less fortunate. Tonight is the Oakland Art Murmur and within it you will find a dance class at 23rd and Telegraph. There will be two workshops, one at 6pm and the second at 7pm. I see no downside to this class whether you're a beginning dance or have some experience under your belt. While you're there, don't forget there will still be more art to see.


Oakland Cruise Night

With the warmer weather comes the Vintage car shows. The Royal Jokers Car Club will be hosting their Vintage car event tonight at the 1/4lb Giant Burger. See some of your favorite cars, enjoy some burgers and listen to some oldies. Afterwards everyone will be meeting up at the Soulvation for drinks and dancing. The afterparty is for 21+ and there is no cover. Dance away to some oldies but goodies.
