The one thing I like about Tuesdays is $5 movie night. You can get a double feature tonight at the West Wind Concord drive-in and see two of the latest movies. The selection is limited though so definitely check the site to see what's playing. If you need more of a variety, the United Artists Theater in Emeryville and the Regal Cinemas in Jack London Square in downtown Oakland have $5 tickets as well. Forget about Friday, make Tuesday your movie night, among other things.

"The Cartoon Art Museum is the only museum in the U.S. dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of cartoon art in all its forms. This unique institution houses approximately 6,000 original pieces in its permanent collection; a complete volume research/library facility is located on the museum’s premises. In addition to seven major exhibitions a year, the museum has a classroom for cartoon art and a bookstore. Normally $6 admission, the first Tuesday of every calendar month is 'Pay What You Wish' Day"

It seems that the warmer the weather gets, the more singles mixers there seems to be. Tonight's mixer is in Sausalito so if you don't mind traveling the extra distance you can meet some people, eat some food and have some fun. Entry is $10 for adults and all will be dressed to impress, so bring your A game.
