Come out to the 12th Annual Vegetarian Day Festival. There will be International vegan cuisine, healthy food demos, live entertainment, veghealth awards ceremony, a children's corner, and even vegan speed dating. If you get there before 10:45 it's free and after that - will be $8.00.

Oakland's family friendly craft beer festival. Oaktoberfest celebrates the history, the flavors, and the people of the Bay Area. Oakland’s Dimond District hosts this one-of-a-kind Fall Festival, welcoming thousands with craft beer & food, entertainment, arts, and ecology. The Dimond continues a tradition as an entertainment destination, begun in the early 1900’s when Beer Gardens and German vacation resorts lined the boulevard. Oaktoberfest will bring world-class beer to the tented beer hall, serving steins of traditional German flavors and regional brew pub favorites.

With the neon lights of North Beach we're surprised we've never thought of this before. Bring a white t-shirt that can be drawn on and a highlighter with you as you and your team run around the wild streets of North Beach, in and out of bars and strip clubs, up and down staircases and all around the neighborhood, tagging other teams with highlighters to deduct points from them and drinking like there's no tomorrow along the way. Might not want to bring your grandma to this one.
