Good Friday! For a recap of yesterday's Jazz concert in Oakland, it was really nice. SoundWaves is a summer music series that will be happening Thursdays. They had it set up really nicely on the lawn outside of Miss Pearl's Jam House but unless you're ordering food and sitting on Miss Pearl's patio, actual seating is limited. Bring a chair or a blanket and set up camp on the lawn. Crystal Monee Hall was yesterday's feature, and if she is a look at what's to come then you won't want to miss the next SoundWaves show on the 26th featuring the Big Band sounds of the Ben Oni Orchestra.
